ii) Eight years experience as a Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian.
iii) Evidence of innovative library service including integration of ICT in library.
iv) A Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science / Documentation Science / Archives and manuscriptkeeping/Computerization of library.
Desirable –
(i) Operational knowledge of Library Automation and Networking.
(ii) Operational knowledge of Computer and Internet

3. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET
